"HOU-OU" Recital Held (Amagasaki Campus)
On Thursday, April 4rd, an exhibition of "HOU-OU," a paulownia wood craft created by Taro Higashifuku, a graduate of our university and a traditional craftsman, was held at the first floor entrance of the Amagasaki Campus.
These crafts were donated by Mr. Azuma as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Hamamatsu Yamate Gakuin, and the exhibition was made possible thanks to a donation made to the 100th anniversary celebrations by the Kansai International University Iai-mei-en Alumni Association.
President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Atsushi Hamana expressed his gratitude for the donation, followed by a speech from Tofuku Taro, in which he conveyed the message behind "HOU-OU," saying, "We want students to be like the phoenix, taking on challenges again and again without fear of failure and spreading their wings and soaring out into the world."
Afterwards, Mr. Makoto Yamamoto of the Kansai International University Iai-mei-en Alumni Association presented a list of donations.
