The "THE World University Rankings Japan Edition" is a ranking published by the British education magazine "Times Higher Education (THE)" and the Benesse Group with the aim of promoting educational reform and globalization at universities. The ranking is created using 4 indicators in four areas: "educational resources," "educational fulfillment," "educational outcomes," and "internationality," to measure the "educational strength" of universities.
