[Volunteer Recruitment] Kyoto Prefecture Yamashiro Board of Education "7 Student Power Volunteer" Announcement

The Kyoto Prefectural Yamashiro Board of Education is recruiting "Student Power Volunteers."

 

The Yamashiro Education Bureau of Kyoto Prefecture dispatches university, graduate, and junior college students who are aiming to become teachers to elementary and junior high schools in the Yamashiro area as volunteers.Detailed learning support for childrenSince 17, we have been implementing the "Student Power Utilization Project" to achieve this goal.

We will be running this program again in the 2025 academic year, so we look forward to many students registering!

Implementation guidelines

Activities

(1) Learning support for students

- Support for individual students in their academic studies
・Support for learning activities after school and on holidays
(2) Learning support for students who tend to not attend school
(3) Support for elementary school club activities and junior high school club activities that utilize students’ special skills

<schedule>

The activity period will be within the relevant fiscal year, and will generally be carried out throughout the year.

<Implementation place>

Elementary and junior high schools in the Yamashiro area

(Target municipalities)

Uji City, Joyo City, Kumiyama Town, Yawata City, Kyotanabe City, Ide Town, Ujitawara Town, Kizugawa City, Seika Town, Kasagi Town, Wazuka Town, Minamiyamashiro Village

<Eligibility, participation conditions, etc.>

Students who are taking teacher training courses with the aim of becoming teachers in the future

<treatment>

Compensation fee: Please check at the time of application.

Transportation fee: Please check at the time of application.

Volunteer insurance: Yamashiro Education Bureau will cover the costs and process the enrollment

Students who wish to continue their activities at the same school in the 2024 academic year

After applying to the school and receiving permission,Student Volunteer Registration Form for FY2025 [Form 1]Please submit the following to the school where you will be participating.

As a general rule, Kansai International University does not grant students official leave for volunteer activities.

Please check the class schedule carefully before attending.
