The Japanese language teacher training course offered by the Kansai International University's Faculty of Global Studies was officially registered as a "Registered Japanese Language Teacher Training Institution" by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on May 2025, 5.
As a result, students who enroll in the Faculty of Global Studies at Kansai International University from 2025 onwards and complete the Japanese language teacher training curriculum will be exempt from taking the basic exam required to obtain qualifications as a registered Japanese language teacher.
*Please note that to obtain the qualification, you will need to take an applied examination and complete practical training at a registered practical training institution.
Our university will offer a Japanese language teacher training program for students enrolling in 2025 and beyond, with the aim of nurturing high-quality Japanese language teachers.
