On July 7th, the "pre-learning" for the 19 Summer Co-op Program/Internship was held from the 2025st to XNUMXth periods at the Kobe Yamate Campus. Second and third year students participated. This time, the target participants were those in the departmental joint program, and the internship sites were automobile dealerships, consulting companies, the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution, and financial institutions.
In the first class, the teacher in charge explained the things to know when participating in an internship, the internship mindset, risk management training, and company and industry research. There was an assignment on researching the internship site and setting goals, and each participant gave a presentation on their internship site, their goals and the significance of participating. Participants commented, "I was able to learn about other companies," and "I realized that I was lacking in my goal setting." The second class was a manners class, and Ms. Eri Takeshima was invited as a lecturer. She gave a practical lecture on basic corporate mindset, greetings, self-introductions, and how to write thank-you letters. The atmosphere changed completely when the teacher entered the room, and everyone seemed to stand up straight. She carefully explained how important basic responses and greetings are, and that we should be aware that "you are seen as a member of society" and "your internship site is making time to accept you even though they are busy." In the third and fourth classes, we confirmed the implementation of the aptitude test, how to write the online daily report to be filled out during the internship, future challenges, and the creation of a poster to be used in the report session.

The presentation will be held as a poster session at the Amagasaki Campus University Festival Heart Festa on Saturday, November 11th. Anyone is welcome to attend.
There are other department-specific programs in addition to the co-op program/internship, each of which consists of pre-learning, practical training, post-learning, and a report session. Students who participate in any of these programs grow every year through the program, become aware of their own issues, and apply them to the future.
