20257Month25from the day27On the 20th, a summer program for junior and senior high school students with foreign roots was held at our Kobe Yamate Campus as part of a project commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Junior and senior high school students with roots in a wide range of countries and regions, including Brazil, Peru, India, and Iran32Many people gathered, exchanged ideas, cooperated and engaged in a variety of activities.


Program Objectives and Outcomes
The program aims to improve participants' English communication skills, deepen their understanding of different cultures, and foster a sense of identity.
Through practical English workshops and intercultural exchange activities, participants developed their ability to express their thoughts in English and deepened their interactions with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
In addition, at a career workshop, a guest speaker was invited who also has foreign roots and is currently active in society, and participants were seen thinking deeply about their own career development.

Many participants commented that the event was a beneficial experience, with comments such as "There were so many different activities available, it was very fulfilling," and "I was able to meet friends with the same background."
Going forward, our university will continue to work in cooperation with related organizations to develop glocal human resources based in Kobe and to create an educational environment where the children of foreign talent can study with peace of mind.
