Kansai International University issues the following warning based on the latest weather information regarding Typhoon No. 9, which occurred on September 4th.
Typhoon Faxai is expected to bring heavy rain accompanied by localized thunderstorms from the early evening of the 15th through the afternoon of the 4th. It is predicted to come closest to Osaka Prefecture from mid-afternoon on the 5th.
All students, faculty and staff are asked to check the latest typhoon information on television, radio, the web, etc. at all times, and to take sufficient precautions against damage caused by wind and rain.
Additionally, for those of you outside the university who are planning to participate in upcoming events, please check with the organizers in advance to see if they will be held.
