2025年9月19日（金）尼崎キャンパスにおいて2025年度秋入学式が執り行われ、3年次編入学生14名、2年次編入学生、1年次入学生9名、別科生18名の新入生を迎えました。また、中国の内蒙古大学、青島濱海学院、鞍山師範学院、韓国の釜山外国語大学校、台湾の玄奘大学、UMAPから中国のSias Universityの6大学から9名の交換留学生を迎えました。
At the beginning of the ceremony, President Hamana handed each new student a booklet bearing the "Three Cs" (Communication, Consideration, and Commitment) that represent the Hamana Yamate Academy's educational mission. In his speech that followed, the president spoke about both the increased volume of information and convenience brought about by the development of AI, as well as the new risks that come with it. He emphasized the importance of diversity as a challenge in the age of AI, and stressed the importance of acquiring the three skills of "Communication," "Consideration," and "Commitment" to survive in this era, as well as the importance of thinking and acting independently, and offered words of encouragement to expand one's possibilities.
Afterwards, Wang Jinyu (Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business Administration) spoke on behalf of the new students, expressing his gratitude for the warm and grand welcome he received at the entrance ceremony. He said that while he felt anxious about his new environment, he was excited about the new encounters and learning that he would make. He also spoke of his strong aspirations to grow as a person not only through his studies but also through a variety of activities and interactions during his university life, and to work hard every day so that on graduation day he could proudly call his time at Kansai University of International Studies "a treasure of my life."
