In March 2025, Kansai University of International Studies signed a partnership agreement with Miki City and the Miki City Golf Association to promote golf. In April 2026, the university will open a "Golf Management Course" in the Department of Regional Management (Miki Campus) of the Faculty of Business Administration, building a cooperative system for the sustainable development of the region, with a focus on developing human resources who will support golf as an industry.
