This was the students' first visit to a university, and they experienced classes in specialized fields that are directly related to their future career choices, experiencing the real side of university life.
Associate Professor Matsuo talks about the reality of "teacher work"
During the tour, Associate Professor Kazunori Matsuo from the Faculty of Education gave a lecture titled "About the Work of a Teacher." Using slides, Associate Professor Matsuo enthusiastically explained the multifaceted role of the teaching profession and the rewarding aspects that come from interacting with students. It was a valuable opportunity for the students to deepen their understanding of the teaching profession.

Reunions with alumni strengthen the bonds between high school and university
One particularly memorable moment was when one of the students who acted as guides was a graduate of Itami Nishi High School, who was reunited on campus with the teachers who had looked after him during his time at high school.
The accompanying teachers commented with joy and praise, saying, "It is very gratifying to see how well the students have grown since graduating from high school and studying professionally at university. They have become good role models for their juniors."
