On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a special lecture on "Japanese Culture" entitled "Katsura Yoshibo Welcomes You to the World of Classical Cultural Performing Arts" will be held at the Kobe Yamate Campus of Kansai International University.
Our university-wide course, "Japanese Culture Studies," approaches Japanese culture through literary works and traditional performing arts, and considers the "universality" that remains moving even as times change.
As one of the events, we will invite Rakugo performer Katsura Kichibo, a visiting professor at our university, to give a special lecture entitled "Katsura Kichibo Welcomes You to the World of Classical Cultural Performing Arts."
As part of the university's community contribution activities, this lecture is open to the public free of charge. Please enjoy the world of classical arts and culture as Yoshibo speaks freely about them.
