11Month8 daysAmagasaki Campus University FestivalHEARTAt the "Festa"2025The "Summer Global Studies & Co-op Program/Internship Report Session" was held.
Starting this year, the experiential learning courses "Global Studies (GS)," "Co-op Program/Internship (CP/IS)," and "Service Learning (SL)" have been reorganized into the "KUISs Commitment Course Group." In response to this, we will be holding a joint report session on the results of GS and CP/IS, and hope to use this as an opportunity to standardize courses, including SL, in the future.
It is hoped that this initiative will give students a cross-disciplinary perspective across the various programs, and increase their desire to try other experiential learning in the coming academic year.
On the day, 9 teams from GS, 25 teams from the Department of Business Administration, 4 teams from the Department of Psychology, and 6 teams from the Department of Tourism participated, with approximately 150 students taking part. In addition to students, faculty and staff, people from host companies and organizations,HEARTThe report session was lively and was attended by members of the public who attended the festival.
The presentation session began with a general explanation followed by words of encouragement from President Hamana. The students presented their work using posters, followed by a question-and-answer session, with each team making three presentations.
They were seen calmly responding to sharp questions from business people and faculty and staff, and it was clear that they had grown and that their learning had paid off.
In addition, the host companies and organizations also provided their comments at the closing, making the presentation the kind of event our university aims for, not just a presentation by students, but one that is created together with the university, students, and stakeholders.

From the participating students
"I was impressed by the presentations by GS and CP/IS, which I was not involved in, as well as the scale and content of the overseas and local activities. Not only that, but it also motivated me to 'try harder.'"
"Interest in practical learning, such as interactions with companies and overseas activities, has increased."
"Explaining my experience in words allowed me to reflect on it and feel like I had grown."
There were positive comments such as:
On the other hand,
"I was nervous during the presentation and couldn't speak well, my voice was too quiet."
"The posters lacked creativity, with small text and few photos."
And areas for improvement were also mentioned.
There was also an opinion that symbolized President Hamana's words that "re-internalization is important," saying, "We will take the feedback from teachers and companies as a future challenge and make use of it in the future."

We would like to once again express our sincere gratitude to the companies and organizations that accepted students in this year's program, as well as to everyone inside and outside the university who assisted with the preparation and running of the report session.
