"Language support is important when accepting foreign workers," says Visiting Professor Toshihiro Menju.

A TV Aichi news program reported that a course on labor laws had been held in Toyota City for high school students attending Brazilian schools. During the program, Menju Toshihiro, a visiting professor at Kansai University of International Studies who is knowledgeable about creating a society in which people can coexist with foreigners, commented, "The era of temporary workers is over. In the future, language support will become more important."

Experts point out that "if we do it half-heartedly, concerns will arise" regarding the system for accepting foreign workers, and that language support and other measures need to be expanded.
