This year, the Faculty of Business Administration (Miki Campus) held a "Bibliobattle" as part of its "Basic Seminar" course.1First-year students search for books they want to introduce from the Media Library (library) collection and submit them to the seminarLC(Learning Community) and announced it.LCThe representatives announced the winners in the seminar and decided on the winners of each seminar.1I am a representative of the year.

It was a tense situation, but Fukuda gave a speech entitled "Sports Mental Skills: Turning Your Intentions into Results" (2025 Toshio Shimizu, Toyokan Publishing), Masuyama is "a player who doesn't make mistakes" (2024 鳥谷敬 PHP) They both play on the baseball team, so they chose books that interested them. They answered questions after the presentation with confidence.

I think that by participating in the Bibliobattle alongside members of the local community, I was able to experience the concept of Bibliobattle: "Get to know books through people, get to know people through books." While there are recent reports of young people turning away from print, I hope that this opportunity will help students to learn about the benefits of books, encourage them to make use of the media library, and lead to fulfilling university life.
