According to a joint survey by the Asahi Shimbun and Kawaijuku titled "Opening Japanese Universities," as the hurdles to studying abroad become higher due to factors such as the weak yen and rising prices, domestic study abroad is gaining attention. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has also included a budget to support this in its budget request for fiscal 2026.
This time, we have published the experiences of students who have studied abroad within Kansai University of International Studies through the university's domestic study abroad program, as well as students who have studied at our university.
