[Faculty of Psychology] Professor Makoto Nakayama explains the psychology of the suspect in the Kobe woman stabbing incident

On December 8, 2025, SUN-TV's evening news aired a commentary by Professor Makoto Nakayama of the Faculty of Psychology at our university regarding the case of a woman who was stabbed to death in an apartment in Kobe's Chuo Ward in August of this year. Professor Nakayama, who specializes in criminal psychology, covered the scene and, in a news interview, delved into the psychology of the suspect as an expert. He also said that in order to prevent stalkers from reoffending, it is necessary to make rehabilitation programs that educate perpetrators mandatory.
