International students from our university will participate in the "Tano Taro Harvesting Experience and Imo-ni Party" at Sonokita Farm

2025Years12Month20On Saturday, the community farm, Sonokita Farm, will be hosting a New Year's event called "Tano Taro Harvesting Experience and Potato Stew Party."

International students from the Department of Business Administration at our university will be participating in this event as part of a collaboration in a project to create a place to stay using community farms.
The students will be involved in creating flyers and running the event, and will harvest Tano taro and hold a taro stew party together with local residents. Chinese students are also planning to introduce Chinese taro dishes and their hometowns.

We hope that through farm work and interaction, students will be able to share heartwarming moments and create new connections between the local community and students.
