Hamana Yamate Gakuin Educational Corporation held its New Year's Ceremony at the Kansai International University Amagasaki Campus on Monday, January 5, 2026 (Reiwa 8). Over 340 guests, including faculty and administrative staff from the schools and kindergartens under the corporation, participated on the day, with some attending online.

Chairman Atsushi Hamana delivered a New Year's address looking ahead to the new century at Hamana Yamate Academy, looking back on the various activities in 2025 and expressing his deep gratitude to each and every faculty member who has worked hard in the midst of a rapidly changing global situation.

Next, he delivered a powerful message looking to the future, including the creation of a system to turn diversity into strength, the use of generative AI, and the creation of an environment that will improve the quality of education in order to achieve further development.

After the ceremony, there was a poster session where the initiatives of each school and kindergarten established by the institute were introduced and explained. This provided a forum for lively information exchange across departments, making it a very meaningful opportunity.

This year, we hope to continue to make steady progress, aiming for further growth, together with people from industry, government agencies, academia, the local community, and the faculty, staff, and students of our school.

I sincerely hope that this year will be a fruitful and fulfilling one for all of you. Thank you for your continued support this year.
