2025Years12Month6On the 10th, at the Hiyoshi Campus of Keio University, a memorial service was held for the death of Shunsuke Tsurumi, one of Japan's leading postwar philosophers.10Associate Professor Liu Zheng of the Faculty of International Communication and Faculty of Business Administration (concurrent appointments) at our university was involved in planning and running the symposium as one of the organizers.
The symposium was held both in person and online, with the participation of 10 researchers and writers from both Japan and China. Professor Liu Zheng gave a report titled "The Personal Images of Nishida Kitaro and Tsurumi Shunsuke" and delivered the closing remarks. The content of the symposium and some of Professor Liu's remarks were featured in the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper.
