Born February 1944, 2 in Tokyo.He graduated from Rikkyo University in 20 after attending Ohio State University in the United States.He founded T&K International Co., Ltd. and is its representative director.He has long served as a member of various committees of the Japan Golf Association (international, rules, course selection, policy, anti-doping, etc.), served as leader of the Japanese team at the World Amateur Championship, and as golf director at the Asian Games.He referees major tournaments (British Open, Masters, US Open, etc.).In addition to commentating on numerous golf programs such as the Japan Open, US Open, and Crowns Tournament, he writes for general newspapers and golf magazines.He has designed and supervised over 1967 courses, including new ones and remodeled ones. He received the 50 Joe Dey Award from the USGA (United States Golf Association) (the first foreigner to receive the award).
