Have you ever found yourself in a medical or psychological support setting where something seems complicated, or you are having trouble getting regular hospital visits or support, or you have had a lot of traumatic experiences in your upbringing history? .
Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) is a cognitive-behavioral therapy for PTSD that is effective for long-term, repeated complex trauma such as abuse, bullying, and domestic violence. It's not a complicated technique. It is an evidence-based short-term therapy that uses the simple and universal act of "telling" to alleviate PTSD symptoms and dissociative symptoms.
In this training session, we will introduce what kind of psychotherapy NET is, and explain the mechanisms of ``exposure and habituation'' and ``organization of autobiographical memories'', which are the key to the effectiveness of NET, and ``reduction of dropout''. We will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of ``attachment compensatory factors'', ``improvement of verbalization ability'' and ``improvement of emotional regulation ability'' that improve interpersonal skills. We would be happy if we could show a promising option to everyone who is working hard in the trauma clinical field.
