4th grade student/from Indonesia

The reason I went to Kansai International University was to improve my English skills, expand my international perspective, and learn about different cultures by meeting friends from diverse countries. I aspired to work at a global network company because I wanted to challenge new fields while honing my skills in connecting foreigners and Japanese people. I have strived to learn communication expertise and improve my language skills. Although I have a shy personality, as part of my self-challenge, I have gained confidence in communicating and building relationships, and little by little I am able to speak. When creating my resume, I received Japanese language instruction and advice on areas where I was lacking. Additionally, if there were parts of the report that I did not understand, I contacted the teachers directly and received clarification. I actively participated in extracurricular activities, and during the internship I participated in during winter break, I came up with solutions to problems in Indonesia and gave a presentation as a group representative. In the future, I aim to use the knowledge I learned at university to start a business in my home country. University life is full of fun and challenges, but please do your best! I'm sure it will help you!

I became interested in the aviation industry after watching the movie ``Umizaru,'' and found the classes and seminars at Kansai International University appealing, so I enrolled. In the class, I was able to listen to the voices of current flight attendants and airport staff, which I think helped me in my job hunting. My internship experience at Kansai Airport helped me decide on a job offer. During my seminar activities, I acquired communication skills and logical thinking through fieldwork, realized my growth through interviews, and began actively following the news. In terms of career development, I focused on the tourism industry and language studies, and I tried to proceed systematically in order to concentrate on job hunting and graduation thesis. Our university has a variety of support systems in place, and seniors and teachers can help you if you feel anxious. In the future, I would like to gain experience as a member involved in safe flight operations and become in a position of providing guidance.

4th year student/from Osaka Prefectural Kanaoka High School

The reason I decided to apply for a job offer was because of the influence of my seniors working at an insurance company. My senior colleague's words, ``Work that helps people is rewarding'' resonated with me, and I became interested in the insurance industry. I feel that during my university life, my relationships with others have grown the most. While online classes continued due to the coronavirus, when face-to-face classes resumed, I received a lot of inspiration from actively interacting with people. Additionally, I was able to obtain the qualification I had aimed for while attending university, and I was able to demonstrate this not only through my words but also through my actions. The university's career support team did their best to help me with my job search, including preparing entry sheets and practicing for interviews, so I was able to relieve my anxiety and gain confidence during my job search. In my studies, I set the goal of completing my graduation thesis within four years, and whenever I did not understand something, I immediately asked the professor. Throughout my university life, I learned the importance of having an attitude of gratitude. I will continue to do my best to improve myself.

Faculty of Education

4th year student/Hyogo Prefectural Ikawadani High School

The reason I chose this university is because it allows me to obtain multiple qualifications and licenses, such as a childcare worker qualification, a first-class kindergarten teacher license, and a special support school teacher license. I was particularly attracted to the job of a kindergarten teacher, which allows me to be involved in the early childhood period, which is important for children's growth. Before entering university, I was not good at standing in front of people, but I joined the Children's Culture Research Group and was able to gain confidence through the experience of playing with my hands, performing picture-story shows, and plays in front of children. I realized that I had grown when I heard comments from the teachers at my training sites, such as ``I feel at home here'' and ``I feel confident in my work.''
During my university life, I was able to work on exams and reports while sharing information with friends, and I was able to consult with teachers through seminar activities. There are commercial facilities around the campus, and I was able to go out to eat and play with friends during my lunch break and after classes. Another appealing feature was the location, where you can get to Osaka from the university in about 20 minutes. During my job search, I received generous support from the Career Support Office and was able to successfully find a job. From now on, I would like to do my best as a kindergarten teacher!

4th year student/Hyogo Prefectural Takarazuka High School

I chose Kansai International University because of the many qualifications you can obtain and the closeness with the teachers. Particularly during the childcare training, I felt the need for social care, which led me to pursue qualifications as a childcare worker or social worker. Also, during my short-term study abroad in the Philippines, I saw the strength of children living in poverty and learned the necessity of living together, not just giving things. My experience at university has greatly contributed to my personal growth. While working as an open campus staff member, I have become able to have the desire to take on any challenge. Thanks to the advice and interview practice from my senior colleagues, I was able to approach job hunting without feeling nervous. At the nursery school on campus, I had the opportunity to interact with children, which was a great experience. In the future, I would like to become a staff member who can quickly identify issues surrounding children. I believe that at Kansai International University, I will be able to gain a variety of experiences that will lead to my personal growth.

syuku.png Special support school offer

7 Uesaka.jpg
4th year student/Hyogo Prefectural Kobe Takatsuka High School

The reason I decided to become a teacher was because I met a teacher I respect. In classes and practical training, I learned how to communicate with children, as well as how to understand children's emotions and act accordingly. As you interact with children, you will deepen your bonds with them, and when you are in a position to teach them, you will experience personal growth. I was also able to learn a lot through practical training and volunteer activities, which further strengthened my passion for working with children. During the teacher recruitment exam period, the teachers always supported me, which was reassuring.
Also, since Amagasaki is close to the station and a shopping mall, I also went shopping for a change of pace during my free time from class.
My goal is to become like the teacher I respect. I want to work hard for that every day!

Faculty of Business

4th grade student/from Vietnam

The reason I decided to enroll at Kansai International University was because I was attracted to the opportunity to participate not only in on-campus classes, but also in a variety of extramural activities such as industry research, internships, and global studies. I also chose this company because it has a wide range of business partners and bases both domestically and internationally, and I thought I could make use of my language skills. The things I learned and the skills I acquired at university are wide-ranging, including improving my Japanese language ability, communication skills, self-discipline skills, and video shooting and editing techniques. In particular, I feel that my experience as an open campus staff member has helped me develop my teamwork, autonomy, and presentation skills.
The university's career support team helped me when I was looking for a job, and their enthusiastic and kind support was a huge help to me.
In the future, I would like to convey to my juniors that by continuing to try new things and experience things, they can walk their own path.

Faculty of Health Care

syuku.png Unofficial offer as a midwife at Yokohama City University Hospital

9Harada.jpg
4th year student/University of Hyogo Sumanoura High School

I had wanted to become a midwife since I was in middle school. Through the death of her grandmother and the birth of her younger siblings, she realized the preciousness of life and chose the profession of midwifery. When I participated in Kansai International University's open campus, I was impressed by the student-led OC and the responsiveness of my seniors, so I decided to enroll. I felt that my self-analysis ability and insight improved during my university studies. In particular, through the practice of individualized nursing, I was able to acquire the ability to deeply consider the feelings of others and the background behind their words and actions. There were many moments during my university life when I felt like I was going to give up, but each time I got through it by encouraging each other with my friends. The four years I spent with my friends are my treasure. In the future, my dream is to become an advanced midwife and work overseas!
