Report on the 3rd Regular Concert and gratitude for your continued support (greetings from the advisor)

2025/04/04

On Sunday, March 2024, 3, we were able to successfully hold our third regular concert at Kobe Asahi Hall.
This year marks the fourth year since the club was established, and all four grades have finally started their activities together. Following the silver prize at the Hyogo Prefecture Wind Orchestra Competition, the brass quintet won a silver prize at the Hyogo Prefecture Ensemble Contest, and the woodwind trio won a gold prize, and they also achieved the feat of winning a silver prize at the Kansai Ensemble Contest as the prefecture representative. In addition, they have been able to perform on many occasions, including collaboration projects with the local community, performances requested by the community, and a special joint concert with the Kobe Yamate Junior and Senior High School Wind Orchestra in December to commemorate the corporation's 4th anniversary.

And in this third regular concert, the first part was an original stage for the wind orchestra, and included the famous "Alvamar Overture" (composed by J. Barnes) and "Revival" (composed by Hoshina Hiroshi), which is often featured in competitions. The second part featured a jazz-themed piece, and for the first time, the orchestra attempted to perform together with a professional musician. Yusuke Maki, who performed a wonderful saxophone solo, is a section trainer for the wind orchestra at our university and regularly provides careful instruction to the students, and he was a great inspiration to the audience on this stage as well.

3th regular concert

The success of our third regular concert was made possible thanks to the enthusiastic guidance of our trainers and the daily support and encouragement of the many people who support our club's activities. We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our sincere gratitude to our supporters' association, alumni association, corporation, and university faculty and staff.

The first batch of pioneers of the club have graduated, and in April we will welcome new members and begin our activities towards the next step. The coaching staff and members will work together to achieve further development.
We look forward to your continued support and guidance in the future.
