- Why do you think entrepreneurship education programs like this one are valuable for the 21st century university students ?

These kinds of programs are essential for the growth of our students. You know, bringing them to a place as amazing and historical as Japan changes their world completely--it's life-changing. They start to see a whole different culture they've never ever seen before.
The other thing they're exposed to is the value of entrepreneurship, which we do see in our tourism industry and is essential to it. We see it here in Japan--for example, a chef with their own cooking school. We had an example the other day when we had a wonderful demonstration on how to do the tea ceremony. Again, that was led by a teacher who has their own business teaching tea ceremony.
Likewise, the same person was also a sake master and had her own production company, manufacturing sake. So, these kinds of things give students a chance to see, through the culture and personal interest, how to get into business, support tourism, and support themselves.
