It was the most exciting programme I have ever attended. The program served as a platform for participants to create networking opportunities and make friends from multiple countries. During the programme, I felt like I was on vacation and nearly forgot that I was in it.

Being in a foreign country taught me how to be independent, made me more mature, and built my confidence in making decisions. Other than that, one of the most significant advantages of studying abroad is the chance to enhance language abilities. Exposure to a foreign-language context speeds up the learning process and helps me use my language abilities in real-world scenarios. During this program I also learned some new Japanese words like Omotenashi, Sumimasen, Daijobudesuka, and more. This is a good thing for me to implement what I learned in the first lecture, which is "do what the local does." By learning new words from my Japanese friends, I can implement them in real-life culture that people do not really know about, such as the procedure of the tea ceremony. The culture in Japan is really amazing.

Awaji Island was good because of their attractions like Zenbo Seinei, Hello Kitty Smile, Nijigen No Mori, and Awaji World Ballet. The most attractive place for me is Zenbo, Seinei. Since I am a nature lover, of course I love Zenbo Seinei. In there, I can balance the body and mind through activities such as Zen meditation. The meditation was a masterpiece for me because I could relax my body and free my mind. It was an incredible experience. I also got the chance to join the food and beverage lecture and practicum at KUIS Amagasaki Campus. I learned about the Japanese food culture, manners, symbolism, processing methods, and cooking techniques. After I learned about it, I feel like Japan has taught me so much. It can be a transformative experience and encourage personal development. In Kobe, I also learned how to adapt to a new place, new environment, and new weather, which was really awesome to experience.

The day when we go to Sakoshi is the best experience ever; it was the chance we got to get closer to the Sakoshi community. The community was really kind and warm-hearted. They make me feel at home; they treat me really well and never make me feel like I am an outsider. In Sakoshi, we also did beach cleaning, which reminded me to always love nature and not pollute it. The Kobe Program develops genuine relationships and friendships across cultural borders.

Participants establish ties with friends from various backgrounds, which promotes cooperation, compassion, and respect. These cross-cultural connections not only improve students' lives, but they also help to develop links between countries and promote global collaboration. These programmes have a crucial role in enabling cultural interchange, language acquisition, educational enrichment, personal development, and worldwide networking. By allowing students to study abroad, these programmes educate them to flourish in an increasingly related and interdependent society.
