The Venture Makers Entrepreneurship Program was a really exciting and informative experience. This experience further clarified my vision as an entrepreneur, and I was able to learn the importance of collaboration and leadership. The time I spent with the members was precious. We discussed our various backgrounds and shared ideas with each other, had networking opportunities, and enjoyed our time by meeting new friends.
I thought my responsibility in this program as a design college student was "creativity". However, there was the burden of breaking the limits of creativity, and I felt a little tired of having to explain the task contents twice due to the difference in each individual's English ability. However, I was able to understand the task more clearly by explaining it twice. And Sydney's free atmosphere was an environment where creativity could be maximized. We had a nice weekend traveling around Sydney's beautiful tourist spots, and those moments made the program even more special. We were able to refresh and accelerate our preparation for the presentation over the weekend.
In particular, the preparation process for the presentation gave me a lot of confidence. Using my strength in creativity and inspiration, I presented the presentation topics and participated in brainstorming, which pushed me toward my team's goals. Although it is important for someone to lead the team, I also felt deeply that if all members shared roles, worked together, and made sure we knew the same goals, we would get successful results.
This program changed my life. The overall atmosphere of life brightened and I gained confidence in myself. One thing I brought from Sydney to Japan is "love." I have been learning about humanity and love for the earth and the environment. I think the key to a sustainable society is "love" after all. I believe this experience will have a huge impact on my life and my dream as an entrepreneur.
