Student card

A note about student ID cards

A student ID card is used to prove your status as a student of this university.Carry it with you at all times, and be sure to present it when requested by a faculty member of the university.
Transferring or lending student ID cards is prohibited under any circumstances.
If you forget to carry your student ID card and need to prove your identity for regular examinations, etc., please receive a temporary examination permit from the Student Affairs Division.
A fee (200 yen) is required to issue a temporary examination permit.It will be issued only once during the examination period. If you forget or lose your student ID card for the second time, you will need to go through the reissuance procedure.

Procedures for reissuing student ID cards

  1. Please fill in the necessary information on the request for reissuance of your student ID card.Purchase a certificate stamp worth 2,000 yen from the automatic certificate stamp issuing machine and attach it to the application for reissuance of your student ID card.

Certificate of attending school

A student certificate is required when purchasing a commuter pass between your home campus and your home. As a general rule, it is issued by the Student Affairs Division in April. The validity period is 4 year.

Please fill in your student ID number, name, current address, and commuting zone by yourself, and carry it with you at all times along with your student ID. Certificates may not be loaned or transferred to others.

If you change your current address or school district, or if you lose your card, please request a reissue from the Student Affairs Division. If you lose it, you will be charged a 200 yen reissue fee. When you receive a new certificate of attendance, or when you lose your student registration due to graduation, withdrawal, etc., please return it to the Student Affairs Division immediately.

Please note that if the certificate is used by someone other than the applicant or if it is issued by false declaration, severe penalties (fines) will be imposed.

Student discount certificate

About student discount certificate

A school student passenger fare discount certificate (commonly known as a “student discount certificate”) can be used only when the railway (JR) operating kilometer exceeds 101 km one way, and the ordinary passenger fare is discounted by 2%.If you use the exact same station when going back and forth to your destination, you can buy a round-trip ticket with a single student discount certificate.In principle, it is issued when used for the following purposes.

  • Leave, return home due to business
  • Educational activities based on the results of classes and exams at schools that conduct experiments and practical training as well as correspondence education
  • Special educational activities approved by the school or extracurricular educational activities related to physical education and culture
  • Employment or entrance exams, etc.
  • Participating in tours or events that the school deems appropriate for learning
  • Treatment of injuries and other problems that interfere with learning
  • Accompanying parents on trips

Procedure method

How to book? Fill in the Application for Student Discount Certificate and submit it to the Student Affairs Division.

Change student information

If any of the following items of student registration information change, please complete the procedures promptly.

Found/lost property

If you find or lose an item on campus, please immediately report it to the Student Affairs Division.

As a general rule, found items will be kept for three months from the date of notification, but will be disposed of after that. Please write your name on your belongings and manage them at your own risk. In particular, please do not leave valuables or cash unattended.

Post/Call

Communication with students is done by Universal Passport.As a general rule, postings that have been posted for more than a week may be treated as known to all students and may be deleted.Please note that any inconvenience or disadvantage caused by not seeing or overlooking the bulletin board is the responsibility of each individual, and the university does not take responsibility for it.
We may also contact you by e-mail, so please check your e-mail frequently.
In addition, except in emergency cases, we do not make calls by broadcast or take calls from outside on campus.
