At the Kansai International University Amagasaki Campus, part of the facilities such as the KUISs Hall, lecture rooms, seminar rooms, and conference rooms are open to the public for academic conferences, symposiums, seminars, and lectures. We provide facilities according to the number of people holding meetings, workshops, various certification exams, etc.

When using the facilities, priority is given to classes and events held at the university.Please contact the general affairs section of the university secretariat (soumuka@kuins.ac.jp)Inquiry.

Purpose of use and restrictions

The facilities of the university can be used for conferences, symposiums, seminars, workshops, workshops, and various examinations.
Please note that the university will not accept applications if any of the following apply.

  • When there is a risk of disturbing public safety or morals, or violating the law
  • When a religious group uses it for the purpose of propagating
  • When used for political purposes
  • When there is a risk of disturbing the surroundings due to noise
  • When subleasing facilities to other organizations, etc.
  • In addition, when you do not follow the instructions of the university or when the university deems it inappropriate

As a general rule, use of the facility is from Monday to Saturday.
Please contact the general affairs section of the university secretariat for inquiries regarding use on Sundays, national holidays, and university holidays.

Utilization time

In principle, the office is available during office hours, from 9:5 a.m. to 20:XNUMX p.m.The usage time includes preparation and cleanup time, and the facility will be unlocked XNUMX minutes before the usage time.

In addition, the fee system is divided into three stages: morning, afternoon, and morning/afternoon. If you extend the time before 3:9 am or after 5:1 pm, you will be charged an extra hourly charge.

Bringing in and setting up equipment, etc.

Equipment other than microphones, projectors, and bulletin boards should be prepared by the user.Please follow the instructions of the university regarding the installation of equipment brought in and the display of posters, etc.

Handling of date change/cancellation

Discontinuation of facility use

In the following cases, facility use will be suspended even during meetings and events.

  • When used for purposes other than those stated in the application form
  • When the right to use is transferred or subleased (subleased)
  • When used in violation of the terms of use, or when not observed
  • When it is deemed to be offensive to public order and morals, or when it is deemed to be a hindrance or inappropriate for management.
  • When it is determined that there is a risk of interfering with classes or work at the university
  • If the facilities are used beyond capacity
  • If it is not possible to contact the applicant smoothly
  • In addition, when the university determines that it is inappropriate

Usage prohibitions

The following acts are strictly prohibited.

  • Direct work (nailing, attaching panels, etc.) to the facilities of the university (doors, walls, floors, etc.) is not permitted.Please use the panels designated by the university to display posters, etc.Please note that we may ask you to remove any posters or posters that have not been approved by the university.
  • Dangerous items such as flammables (including electric heating appliances) and combustible gases cannot be brought into the venue.
  • Heavy items, long items, and equipment with odors cannot be brought in.
  • At our university, smoking is strictly prohibited on campus.In addition, drinking alcohol, eating and drinking (gum, candy, etc.) is prohibited in the hall and classrooms.However, you are allowed to bring in plastic bottles of tea, etc.Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Other actions that adversely affect the facility management of the university are prohibited.

Other notes

  • The temperature of air conditioning and heating shall be based on the set temperature set by the university.
  • You cannot use the university's parking lot.Please use public transportation when visiting the university.If you come by car, please use the general parking lot (paid) around the university.
  • When using blackboards (including whiteboards) and audio/visual equipment installed in halls and lecture rooms, please obtain permission from the university office in advance.In addition, if you wish to bring in equipment or equipment, please notify the university office to that effect and obtain approval.
  • Please do not disturb others or use the microphone at a volume higher than necessary.
  • If you use a movable desk or chair, please put it back in its original place.
  • Please note that the university is not responsible for any accidents that occur during use.

  • In preparation for unforeseen disasters and accidents, please check the emergency exit, evacuation guidance method, fire extinguisher location, etc. before using.
  • Please note that when it is necessary for the management and operation of the facility, the staff of the university may enter the venue (lecture room, etc.) being used.

Compensation and Disclaimer

  • If the user (including participants, related parties, etc.) causes damage to facilities, equipment, equipment, etc., loss of stains, or hindrance to management, operation, etc., the user will be required to compensate for the amount of damage. increase.
  • In addition, if damage is caused by violating this agreement, we may claim damages from the user.
  • In the unlikely event that it becomes difficult to use the venue (lecture room, etc.) due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, the university will not be held responsible for compensation.
  • The university will not be held responsible for any accidents resulting from the use of the facility, such as personal injury, theft, loss, damage, or breakage of items.
