[For school] School bus

Use of the school bus is limited to Waseda University students and faculty members who have purchased a usage card or school bus ticket.If you would like to use the bus when visiting the university, please consult with the person in charge at the destination in advance.

*In principle, the service will be suspended during entrance examinations, open campuses, degree conferment ceremonies, entrance ceremonies, and other events deemed necessary by the university.

*Special schedules may be used for other university events. Please check with the 1st office before using.

On the day of the entrance exam, shuttle buses to the exam venue (Miki Campus) will operate from four locations. If you wish to ride, please apply for your desired boarding location when registering online.If you do not have an application, or if you wish to ride or change your boarding location after registration, please contact the Admissions Division (TEL: 078-341-1615).

Bus service is subject to change depending on weather and road conditions, so please be sure to check the bus service information on the university's website on the day of the event.Please note that buses may arrive just before departure time.

School bus users must comply with the following:

  1. Be sure to check your physical condition and take your temperature before leaving home.Please refrain from riding if you have a fever or are feeling unwell (cold symptoms, etc.).

  2. Present your ticket/use card when boarding and disinfect your hands.

  3. Wearing a mask when boarding a school bus is a personal decision, but we recommend wearing a mask when it is crowded.

●From Kobe Electric Railway Midorigaoka Station

  • About 5 minutes by school bus
  • Shinki Zone Bus
    ⑥Bound for "Bosai Park" and get off at "Kansai University of International Studies"
    ⑧Take the bus bound for "NESTA RESORT KOBE" and get off at "Midorigaoka Higashi 3-chome" and walk for about 8 minutes.

●From Kobe Municipal Subway Seishin-Chuo Station

  • About 25 minutes by school bus
  • Take the Shinki Zone Bus bound for Midorigaoka Station, get off at Midorigaoka Station, and take the school bus from Midorigaoka Station.

●From Sannomiya Station

  • About 40 minutes by school bus
  • About 40 minutes by Shinki Bus Rapid bound for Ebisu Station to Midorigaoka Station, then school bus etc. from Midorigaoka Station
  • About 7 minutes by Hankyu/Hanshin Electric Railway to Shinkaichi Station → About 40 minutes by ride to Kobe Electric Railway Ao Line Midorigaoka Station, school bus etc. from Midorigaoka Station

For those coming by car or from afar

When using the Shinkansen, it is convenient to get off at Shin-Kobe Station or Nishi-Akashi Station.Also, if you use the airport, Kobe Airport is the most convenient.

Campus Area Introduction

Miki City, which has an open and green Miki Campus, used to be the castle town of Miki Castle, and developed in the hardware industry.Although it is located about 30 minutes by car to Sannomiya, it is in a calm environment rich in nature, such as Hyogo Prefectural Mikiyama Forest Park and Hyogo Prefectural Miki Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Park, which is the prefecture's wide-area disaster prevention base.A suburban city with a population of approximately 7, it is also ideal for fieldwork learning.
The campus has baseball and soccer grounds, tennis courts, and a parking lot.

The “Yuai Dormitory” adjacent to the 2nd ground is a 5-story building with 50 rooms, and in March 2019, 3 rooms x 14 floors x 2 buildings, a total of 2 rooms were added.Each room is equipped with a toilet, bath, washbasin, air conditioner, washing machine, desk, bed, and internet connection.In addition, a new cafeteria has been built that can accommodate 56 people at a time, and serves breakfast and dinner.A 200-minute walk to commercial facilities and convenience stores, the environment is easy to live in.
