I am working as an English teacher because although it is a challenging task, it can also be very rewarding. Incorporating effective teaching techniques, such as games, projects, activities, and many more are vital approaches and are things that challenges us as teachers for we have to maintain our learners’ interest and engagement in the learning process. The fact that learning English is one of the most sought-after skills nowadays makes it possible for anyone to find work and live almost anywhere in the globe.

I am from Cebu City, Philippines which is known as the Queen City of the South because of its strategic and economic importance to the country. I finished my bachelor’s degree in the Philippines and majored in Special Education. The primary reasons I chose this profession were my desire to comprehend and assist children who face these difficulties as well as my desire to educate the community and work with them to provide these students with opportunities to participate in social, economic, cultural, and other societal activities.

As soon as I finished my studies, I began working as an English teacher for Japanese students.

Since then, I have had the feeling of wanting to go to Japan and teach English to foreign students.

English is the most understood language today and has the ability to bring individuals from many different cultures together, fostering understanding. By learning English, people can significantly improve their educational and employment prospects as well as their quality of life.
