This week our second year students learned the importance of good posture in making a successful presentation.

Posture is the way we position our bodies while sitting or standing (Stafford, 2012). Good posture is important during a presentation because it shows confidence.

Stafford (2012) suggests the following to achieve a good posture:

1. Face the audience
2. Plant feet shoulder width
3. Point toes toward audience
4. Keep back straight and shoulder squared
5. Keep hands controlled and together
