Q1：現在の研究テーマ（または専門分野）とその専門分野を志した理由・きっかけを教えてください。
My current research interests are 1) effective strategies to raise both the TOEIC scores and English language fluency especially the underachievers, and 2) assessment tools for study abroad programs and Global Research Programs
Q2：プロフィール
I am from Iloilo, which is located in Western Visayas in the Philippines. I finished my bachelor’s degree in secondary education major in teaching English language at the West Visayas State University, which is also in Iloilo. Then, I moved to Manila to pursue my master’s degree in ESL at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. After I earned my master’s degree, I immediately started my doctoral studies in applied linguistics, which I finished at the De La Salle University in Manila.

Why is English so important nowadays? It is a global language. As a global language it is used by many to communicate for many purposes, including but not limited to, travel, business, education, and sports. Also, good English skills can give you access to multiple cultures. You can do it if you put your heart into learning it.
