Google Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that allows for remote or in-person collaboration on a shared space (BU Digital Learning and Innovation, 2022). Students or colleagues can sketch out ideas, problem-solve, or draw collaboratively and synchronously.

During the remote instruction, classes in the Department of English Communication started using Jamboard. All classes now are in-person and Jamboard is still being used. The Seminar class that you will see in the Instagram link used Jamboard for outlining. Specifically, using Jamboard, students in pairs made an outline of the key points from their textbook. Then they explained or presented in English the outline to the class.

With Jamboard, our teachers can improve the learner-centeredness of their classroom, and engage the students in unique and innovative ways.
