Comment from Batbaatar Khongorzul

Q: What is your reason for studying abroad?

A: I decided to study abroad because it would help me improve my day to day life skills and also I could take advantage of this opportunity to become more "independent" and acquire the ability to adapt to different cultures and a new environment. I chose Japan from many countries because I was always fascinated by Japanese culture as well as people's polite behavior and I wanted to receive high-quality education in Japan.

Q: What are you studying currently?

A:I am researching the current situation, background and issues of the Japan-Mongolia Economic Partnership Agreement for my graduation thesis. In addition, I am conducting research on how the strategic partnership between Japan and Mongolia will be strengthened in view of expansion of trade in Mongolia and improvement of the investment environment in the fields of energy and mineral resources.

Q: What are your plans after graduation?

A:I am thinking of getting a job at a trade-related company in Japan, working as a trade clerk, gaining a reasonable amount of experience, and then entering graduate school and aiming for a master's degree.
